Abstract

The authors have developed a model of gas-liquid mixture for investigating strong shock waves (SW) in bubble medium. In order to reliably describe thermodynamic properties of bubble liquid under SW conditions it has been suggested to use a wide range equation of water and steam state analytically. The researchers have compared the experiments for SW with amplitude of pressure p1 = 2,4 MPa in water with nitrogen bubbles with initial gas content a20= 4 % and analyzed the processes of propagation and reflection of shock waves from solid wall with a20 changes from 0,5 to 6 % and SW amplitude changes from 2 to 100 MPa.

Key words
